Launch offer

First 100 sellers: your first $12 batch service fee is waived.

100 spots remain. A sign-up alone does not reserve a place. The offer is claimed only when an eligible seller successfully submits their first collection request.

What is waived

  • The regular $12 batch service fee on your first successful collection request.
  • A Shikimomo Bag remains included when the request meets the Bag eligibility rules.
  • Each seller can receive the launch waiver only once.

What is not waived

  • The flat $5 pickup transportation fee still applies when the pickup’s estimated resale value is below $100.
  • Creating an account does not consume or reserve one of the 100 spots.
  • After claim #100, the regular $12 batch service fee applies automatically.

Eligibility is finalized at successful submission because multiple sellers can submit at the same time. The database prevents more than 100 launch waivers.

How it works

One managed process, from your door to the buyer.

  1. 1. Pickup

Request a Shikimomo Bag or use your own bag/box and book an available pickup window.

  2. 2. Inspection

We identify every item, check condition and decide whether it is suitable for resale.

  3. 3. Photography & pricing

Accepted items are photographed, prepared and priced by Shikimomo.

  4. 4. Seller review

You review the initial price and your commission before the item is published.

  5. 5. Listing & sale

We publish the item, manage the buyer and track the item through the selling period.

  6. 6. Earnings

Your seller share and applicable batch fees remain visible in your account.

Fees & earnings

No surprise charges.

The regular batch service fee is shown before you submit a new collection request and is snapshotted on that request. When the active launch offer applies, the waiver is also snapshotted on the successful request.

Regular batch service fee$12

Once per new batch/pickup. This single fee covers processing and includes a Shikimomo Bag if you request one. There is no separate Bag charge. An eligible first collection can receive the active launch waiver.

Use your own bag / boxNo extra charge

You still have the same regular $12 batch service fee; using your own suitable bag or box does not add another fee. If your first collection successfully claims the active launch offer, that regular service fee is waived.

Pickup$100+ = free

Below $100, one flat $5 pickup transportation fee applies to the whole pickup, regardless of item count. This transportation fee is separate from the batch service fee and is not covered by the launch waiver.

How much you keep

Your commission tier is based on the item’s initial approved price and stays locked after you approve it.

Estimate your earnings

This is an estimate, not a payout promise. The calculator shows the regular $12 batch service fee. If your first collection successfully claims the active launch offer, that service fee is waived on the actual batch.

The $12 fee is charged once per batch, not once per item, and includes a Shikimomo Bag if you request one. This conservative example assumes this is the only item in the batch that sells.

What we accept

Send items that have a realistic second life.

Good to send

  • Clean, resale-ready pieces in our currently accepted categories: Women, Men, Kids.
  • Items in good wearable condition, without stains, tears, holes, significant damage or missing parts.
  • Pieces with a likely individual resale value of at least $8.
  • Lower-value compatible pieces that may make sense as a bundle.
  • Items with clear brand, size and care labels when available.

Usually not a fit

  • Heavily stained, damaged, incomplete or unhygienic items.
  • Items whose condition cannot be verified safely.
  • Pieces with very low resale demand or value unless they can be bundled.
  • Items that do not match the categories currently enabled in the pilot.

Submitting an item does not guarantee acceptance. Women’s, men’s and kids’ clothing each have their own sizing and categories. Check the currently accepted categories above before packing. Final acceptance happens after physical inspection.

How we price

Pricing is reviewed item by item.

Shikimomo considers the brand, category, condition, current resale demand, comparable market pricing and the item’s overall sellability. You see the initial approved price and your commission before publishing.

If an item is rejected, the seller-facing reason and evidence photo are kept separate from internal notes so you can understand the decision.

What should I send?

Batch minimum: $60 estimated combined resale value for collection. This is an estimate, not a promise of acceptance or final pricing.

Best candidates: clean, current, easy-to-identify pieces in strong condition with realistic resale demand.

Rejected after inspection: unhygienic, stained, torn, incomplete or significantly damaged items, or items unsuitable for resale.

Before pickup: wash or clean items as appropriate, fold them neatly and describe known flaws honestly.

Ready?

Know the rules before the pickup.

Your account shows the regular $12 batch service fee and any separate flat low-value pickup transportation fee before you submit. If the launch waiver is successfully claimed, the service fee on that batch becomes $0 automatically.
